Gagauzia’s president sends message to Turkey via GJC

President Gutul expressed his gratitude to the Turkish people and President Erdoğan for their support

Evghenia Guțul, the newly elected female President of Gagauzia, a brotherly and sisterly Turkish homeland, sent warm messages to Turkey through the Global Journalism Council (GJC) during the celebrations of the founding anniversary of the capital city of Komrat.
President Evghenia Guțul, who took office after winning the last election in the Autonomous Republic of Gagauzia of the Republic of Moldova, met with Gagauz citizens at the celebrations organised for the 234th anniversary of the founding of the capital city of Comrat. Starting her speech by expressing her gratitude to the voters for the election victory, the female head of state said, “This victory is the victory of all Gagauzia and the beginning of the transformation of the region into the land of dreams.”
After his speech, President Evghenia Guțul held a private meeting with Journalist İsmail Bayazıt, Deputy President of the Global Journalism Council (GJC) and Turkish businessman, and talked about the importance of relations with Turkey for them. Gutul stated that Turkey has serious investments in the region with the interest and support of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and asked GJC to convey their gratitude to Turkey and the Turkish people on behalf of the Gagauz people. President Gutul also stated that he invited Turkish business people and investors for cooperation opportunities in Gagauzia and announced that he will pay an official visit to Turkey as soon as possible.
